PUSO MO, INGATAN MO

Ang ating puso ay isa sa pinaka importanteng parte ng ating katawan. Basically, ang main function nito ay mag pump ng dugo papunta sa lungs at iba pang organs natin at pabalik sa puso. Sobrang importante ang blood circulation dahil ang dugo ang nag ta transport ng nutrients at oxygen. Alam natin na pag nawalan ng oxygen ang lungs natin, maaari tayong malagutan ng hininga.




Ngayon na alam na natin ang basic function ng heart, pag usapan naman natin, how we can take care of it to make sure that our heart does its job efficiently. Here are some simple ways:


STOP SMOKING




Everytime we breathe, nakaka tanggap ng oxygen ang ating lungs at dinadala ito papunta sa ating puso and in return, dinadala naman nito sa ibat ibang organs ng ating katawan. So everytime we smoke, nagiging contaminated and dugo natin ng mga chemicals na galing sa sigarilyo and this can be harmful and may cause problems sa mga organs natin.


Isa pang epekto ng paninigarilyo ay ang pag build up ng plaque sa ating arteries or ugat and overtime, nagiging barado ito so nahihirapang dumaloy ang dugo na maaaring magdulot ng stroke, heart attack at iba pa na maaaring magdulot ng kamatayan.



EXERCISE REGULARLY AND MAINTAIN PROPER WEIGHT




Kapag tayo ay overweight or obese, our body needs more blood to supply oxygen to different organs of the body. Ito kadalasan ang nagdudulot ng hypertension or high blood pressure that could lead to cardiac arrest. So dapat lamang na imaintain natin ang ating timbang by doing regular exercise like walking which is a good form of exercise for the heart. It is recommended to consult a doctor para s tamang exercise program for you.




EAT THE RIGHT FOOD FOR THE HEART



Sabi nila, we are what we eat. So isa sa major factors bakit nagkakasakit tayo ay dahil sa ating kinakain. Kung nais nating magkaroon ng healthy heart, make sure to avoid foods that are harmful to our hearts tulad ng mga matatamis, maalat, fatty food, processed food. Instead, mas madami tayong intake ng pagkain na mayaman sa fiber, vegetables, beans, low fat dairy products, lean meat at iba pa.


Kung di ka mahilig kumain ng gulay or di maiwasan kumain ng mga processed food, makakatulong ang pag take ng mga SUPPLEMENTS para mapunan ang kakulangan sa nutrients na kailangan ng puso natin. It is also advisable to regularly consult a doctor and have your heart check before taking any medications.
