HOW TO BUY WHOLESALE FROM ALIBABA

Ikaw ba ay isang online seller na nagnanais bumili ng wholesale sa Alibaba nang sa ganun ay di mo na kailangan na dumaan sa mga middle men?

Sa ngayon kasi, ang common practice ay ang mga online and offline sellers ay kadalasang umaangkat ng mga produkto nila sa mga wholesalers na bumibili din sa mga distributors. Sila yung may malalaking puhunan, they buy in bulk from Alibaba and they distribute sa mga wholesalers then to retailers then to the consumer. So ang result, maliit na lang din ang pwedeng ipatong na tubo sa bawat item.

SINO NGA BA SI ALIBABA?

Ayon sa WIKIPEDIA, Ang Alibaba is a Chinese Multinational company specializing in ecommerce, retail, internet and technology. This was founded by Jack Ma. along with 17 other friends and his students in April 4, 1999. Sa ngayon, Alibaba is a Multi Billion company and halos lahat ng produkto na makikita mo sa market sa buong mundo ay malamang galing sa Alibaba. Ito ay sa dahilan na napakamura ng mga produkto dito at direkta ka sa mga manufacturers mismo, although meron din namang mga traders. But the bottomline is sobrang mura pa din talaga.

SO PAANO KA NGA BA MAKAKABILI SA ALIBABA?

Ako personally, I have been buying from this company for a while now na binibenta ko online. And this is want I want to share with you. SA una una kasi medio mangangapa ka pa but eventually transaction will be smooth.

SIMPLE PROCESS ON HOW TO PURCHASE FROM ALIBABA

1. Think about what product to sell. My suggestion is it should be related to your passion, hobby or something you are familiar with so you will enjoy selling it...Do not go with the fad ( Though at times it works, like face mask).

2. Download Alibaba app on your Android or Mac device. Once downloaded, You may change the currency from dollar to peso ( Just go settings to change it) so you can see the actual price in peso without converting it anymore.

3. Create an account with HBK trading They will be your agent here in the Philippines to take care of your hassle-free shipping and for you to be able to save on high cost of shipping if you do it with Alibaba since they ship it through air via DHL, Fedex and the like. With HBK, it is via sea freight so it is less expensive. You may want to look for other agents as well online. Make sure though, to do due diligence to avoid getting scammed.

4. Source product from Alibaba. There are thousands of suppliers in Alibaba so choose the best one. It is advisable to look for a supplier with TRADE ASSURANCE, that means they are of good standard set by Alibaba. You may inquire via chat with the agent and ask for a quotation. Make them feel that you are really serious in buying the product so they give you a better rate.You can negotiate with them. Tell them that you have an agent so you will not be paying the shipping fee with them.

Now Do not forget to ask the agent how many boxes will it be for the number of items you will purchase . Also ask for the sizes of the boxes and weight. Write it down. Then tell the agent you will get back to him/her after you request a quotation from your agent for the shipping fee.

5. Log in to your HBK account and click on REQUEST A QUOTE. Fill out the form with the number of boxes, weight, etc then submit the it. Wait for the email from HBK typically within that day or the following day.

6. Once you receive the quotation and you are already ready to place the order, there is a link on that same email that says “ If above price quote seems acceptable for you, then click here”. Click on it on you will be routed to a page that will give you instructions and you will be provided with the link that you will give your supplier..MAKE SURE TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.

7. Send a message to your supplier and tell them that you are ready to purchase. Give them the link that was given to you. Once they open the link, it will generate a bar code that includes your information in it like your name, address and the address of HBK’s warehouse in China. Please ask them if you will be charged extra for shipping it to the the warehouse ( Normally they do not charge extra especially if it is just near).

8. The agent will then create a pro porma invoice and will ask you what payment options you will use. You may use credit card or pay pal. If you do not have one, then you can ask what other method you can use. HBK also offers an option where you will pay with them via bank deposit in Peso and they will convert it into dollar and they will be the one to arrange the payment with your supplier. They will charge you 1,500 transaction fee for that same thing if you use credit card. Once pro porma invoice is created, they will send a link on your email that will lead you to the payment screen where you can put your information in and submit the payment.

9. Once you have processed the payment, tell your agent it was successful so she can see it in their system. Thats is the end of the transaction. They will then prepare the items to be shipped to the warehouse in China.

REMINDER: Do not forget to ask the agent for the container number of your shipment. You need that to monitor your shipment kn the HBK website. If they tell you they do not know what the container number is, ask them to kindly call the warehouse and ask for it. They may not know it yet of course if they have not shipped it yet so you may make a follow up with them after a day or two just to ask for that information.

10. You may follow up your shipment on the website. Just log in to HBK the go to ACCOUNT, then go to SHIPPING SUMMARY and enter the container number ( Example B045). Normally it takes 20 days to a month before shipment arrives. HBK will take care of the customs transaction, fees, taxes and all.You just wait their advice if it is ready for pick up.

11. Once your shipment reaches the Cubao warehouse, you will receive an email from them with the invoice and bank account number where you can deposit the shipping fee to their bank account. Then reply to their email and attach the deposit slip or bank transfer receipt.

12. Your shipment is now ready for pick up or you can have it shipped via courier like Lalamove, grab, etc. Just notify them that a courier will pick it up at certain time and date.

CONGRATS!...You may now start selling online.
